Wow! What an amazing level of engagement from the ARRL public information volunteer community. You all really showed up for ham radio. We were blown away at how many people participated in the live workshop this week.

The response was overwhelming, and we hit a limit we didn’t realize was in place on the Zoom account. Interest in this event was at levels we’ve not before encountered.

I know many who had registered were unable to attend live. We are happy to provide you with this recording of the event as well as directly answer any questions you have. We’re going to make sure there is unlimited capacity for the next workshop.

Here is the recording, which includes all the slides [YouTube]

Here is the 2025 ARRL Field Day Public Relations Kit [PDF]

The kit contains everything we went over in the workshop, and all the resources you need to promote your club’s Field Day activation including:

  • Publicity tip sheet
  • Sample media advisory and press release
  • Sample proclamation
  • Fact sheets
  • Social media best practices

The 2025 ARRL Field Day landing page contains a lot of useful assets, such as the logo and a publicity poster you can print out and customize for your event. www.arrl.org/FieldDay.

Also, the full line of 2025 ARRL Field Day merch is available: www.arrl.org/shop/fieldday.

We are excited for this year’s Field Day. The theme of Radio Connects underscores what amateur radio does. It connects us to our local areas and around the world, it connects us between generations, it connects us in person through ham radio clubs, and it connects the next generation of engineering leaders with a real-world application of hands-on STEM activities that will keep them engaged with radio and wireless technology.

Radio Connects, and we are delighted to empower you to tell that story in your local community this ARRL Field Day!

If you have questions that aren’t answered in the video, please reach out to me via sharrop@arrl.org.
