KENYA, 5Z. Michael, OZ6ABL, is QRV as 5Z4/OZ6ABL from Watamu until February 28. Activity is holiday style on 80 through 6 meters using CW, SSB, FT8, and FT4. QSL to home call.
MALAWI, 7Q. Chris, ZS6RI, is QRV as 7Q5C from Karonga while on work assignment. Activity is in his spare time. QSL via LoTW.
BARBADOS, 8P. Chris, WA7RAR, will be QRV as 8P9CR from January 18 to 30. Activity will be on 20 through 10 meters using CW and SSB. This includes being active from various POTA sites. QSL via LoTW.
MALDIVES, 8Q. Ji, DS1TUW will be QRV as 8Q7JI from Dhaalu from January 18 to 24. Activity will be on 80 through 10 meters using CW and FT8. QSL direct to home call.
GUYANA, 8R. Aldir, PY1SAD, is QRV as 8R1TM until February 23. Activity is on 160 through 6 meters using CW, SSB, and various digital modes during the week between 2300 and 0300z, and full-time on weekends. This includes being active on various FM and analog Satellites. QSL via LoTW.
CROATIA, 9A. Special callsigns 9A44FF and 9A44FF/p are active during all of 2026 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Croatian Flora Fauna radio club. QSL via operators’ instructions.
GUADELOUPE, FG. Philippe, F1DUZ, will be QRV as FG4KH from January 20 to February 10. Activity will be on 80 through 10 meters using SSB. QSL to home call.
SOLOMON ISLANDS, H4. Bernhard, DL2GAC, will be QRV as H44MS from Manakwai Village on Malaita Island, IOTA OC-047, from January 18 to April 15. Activity will be on the HF bands. QSL to home call.

INDONESIA, YB. Dave, PB2X, is QRV as YB5/PB2X from Sumatra, IOTA OC-143, until February 5. Activity is on 80 through 10 meters, including 30, 17, and 12 meters, using CW, SSB, and FT8. QSL direct to home call.
REPUBLIC OF KOSOVO, Z6. Gab, HB9TSW is QRV as Z68BG from Slatina Air Base until January 28. Activity is in his spare time on the HF bands using only CW. QSL direct to home call.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. ARRL January VHF Contest, North American SSB QSO Party, North America Collegiate SSB Championship, NCCC FT4 Sprint, Weekly RTTY Test, QRP 80-Meter CW Fox Hunt, NCCC Sprint CW Ladder, K1USN Slow Speed CW Test, Hungarian DX Contest, PRO Digi Contest, RSGB AFS SSB Contest, and the Feld Hell Sprint are all scheduled for this upcoming weekend.
Run for the Bacon QRP CW Contest, K1USN Slow Speed CW Test, ICWC Medium Speed CW Test, OK1WC Memorial, RSGB FT4 Contest, Worldwide Sideband Activity Contest, QRP 40-Meter CW Fox Hunt, Phone Weekly Test, A1Club AWT, CWops Test, VHF-UHF FT8 Activity Contest, Mini-Test 40 CW and the Mini-Test 80 CW are on tap for January 19 to 21.
The World Wide Award 2026 Event is active during the month of January.
