The end of Dec 2025 saw a decrease of 133 license amateurs operators since the beginning of 2025, but only a loss of 2 since NOV 2025. 2 of 12 months had positive gains. (Feb and May)

Hawaii saw a decrease, in 2025, by license class:

Novice -2, Tech -97, General -23, Advanced -6 and Extra -5.

The total number of Radio Amateurs in the United States increased by 2,044 for 2025.

The Waimea Hamfest/Swap Meet will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Waimea Community Center, next to the ball field off Kawaihae Road in Waimea (Kamuela).

There will be a $5.00 donation per attendee at registration.

There will be a $10.00 donation per table per seller.

One raffle ticket is included with registration. Additional tickets $1.00.
