76th International DX Convention

April 11-13, 2025

Visalia Convention Center

The 76th Annual International DX Convention (IDXC) sponsored by the Northern California DX Club will be held at Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, California. It is an ARRL sanctioned event.

Learn the secrets of working DX stations quickly and efficiently. Discover the fun of chasing islands — Islands On The Air (IOTA). Attend the Contest Forum, DX Forum, Contest Academy, DX Academy, or the all-new Next Generation DXing Program. There are seminars for everyone from the beginning DXer to the seasoned pro. Visit the Exhibit Hall, where you can talk to the people who design and build the best DX equipment. And of course, we have some great raffle prizes including hourly drawings with some additional prizes. The Northern California Contest Club will again host the hospitality suite at IDXC.

ARRL administers some of the most prestigious DX, award, and contest programs which benefit all radio amateurs and on-air activity. ARRL representatives will be on hand for the event, and to document some of the seminars on video for those who cannot attend the convention (follow the ARRLHQ YouTube channel and the ARRL Learning Center). ARRL Southwestern Division Vice Director Ned Stearns, AA7A, is among the co-chairs who have organized the convention. There will be on-site ARRL DXCC card checking.

You’ll also be able to meet ARRL Vice President Kristen McIntyre, K6WX; Pacific Division Director Anthony Marcin, W7XM; Vice Director John Litz, NZ6W; and Radiosport and Regulatory Information Manager Bart Jahnke, W9JJ.

Travel and Hotel Lodging

The IDXC 2025 meeting will be held at the Visalia Convention Center in downtown Visalia, CA. There are several hotels available to pick from for the IDXC convention.
